Ritchie Lipson is Senior Counsel and leads our business development efforts in Southern California, Arizona, and New Mexico. For the past 15 years, Ritchie has limited his practice to representation of commercial investors, homeowner associations and residential property owners, to assist in the fair resolution of their claims for defective construction. During that period he has been involved in over 70 cases, including several class action lawsuits, recovering over $95 million for clients. Ritchie has extensive political, business, and real estate development experience. As the former CEO and owner of a multi-state retail chain with 400+ employees, he has been involved in retail and industrial development transactions totaling more than 1.3 million sq. ft. Prior to his business ownership and real estate careers, he spent time at the Security Exchange Commission, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America and in the Office of the Minority House Leader in Washington, D.C. Ritchie graduated from the Sandra Day O’Conner College of Law at Arizona State University in 1985, and has a degree in International Business Studies from the American Graduate School of International Management (Thunderbird). He also studied international law at the University of Exeter in England. He received his undergraduate degree in Political Science from Colorado College. He is admitted to practice in Arizona and the District of Columbia. Ritchie is a member of the Community Association Institute, and served as a past board member and Vice President of the Southern Arizona Chapter. He is a member of the Arizona Association of Community Managers, and regularly serves as an instructor for CAAM Certification courses. As a past board member of the Leadership Center in Chandler, Arizona, he was the recipient of the Brian L. Zemp award in recognition of his commitment toward homeowner education. He is also a member of the California Association of Community Managers. Ritchie is an avid surfer and skier and travels the world doing both. He has been a multi-engine, instrumented rated pilot since 1981, is type rated in Citation Jets, and has accumulated over 4000 hours of flying time.

Robert P. Hall is Senior Counsel with Kasdan LippSmith Weber Turner LLP in the Walnut Creek Office. Mr. Hall graduated from the University of California at Berkeley with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with an emphasis in real estate, in 1975. He received his law degree from San Francisco Law School in 1979.For over 25 years, Mr. Hall has specialized in the representation of residential and commercial property owners in construction defects litigation, and also represents owners in connection with post-litigation repairs. Mr. Hall has represented owners of all types of properties associated with all manner of construction related issues, including inspections, contract negotiations, repairs and remodels, and resolution of disputes with contractors, suppliers, builders and sellers.Mr. Hall is an active member of the Executive Counsel of Homeowners (ECHO), the California Association of Community Managers (CACM), and the American Bar Association section on construction. He regularly speaks at seminars and writes articles pertaining to owners of single family residences and members of homeowners associations. Mr. Hall has served as the Chairman of the North Bay Resource Panel and has assisted in the organization of a number of chapter seminars. Mr. Hall has served as a steering committee member for the ECHO Annual Seminar, Legal Steering Committee for CACM, as well as speaker for CACM seminars. Mr. Hall has also been a guest lecturer for several years for UC Berkeley Extension Courses on Risk Management/Defect Litigation and Construction Contracts.
